Tierney House provides self contained, self catering accommodation for up to 5 couples or 15 people and comprises the main house and two attached cottages. The home is built on the foundations of a home once occupied by John Tierney who was Henry Lawson’s school teacher. In fact, in the cellar, you can clearly see the old stone walls and remains of the original timber supports. Set on 46 acres, Tierney House provides an ideal experience of the Mudgee Region. It provides the peace and quiet of a country home but is close to town, which is just 5 minutes drive away, and is centrally located amongst all the main wineries of the region.
